About This Webinar
What is the impact of AI on early‑year medical students, and how can we ensure they enter clinical practice better prepared for an AI‑mediated healthcare environment?
In this webinar, David Game, Dr Philip Xiu and Dr Ximena Alvira will explore the challenges and opportunities of AI in health education – from “never‑skilling” and the parasocial presence of AI in students’ lives, to AI literacy, cognitive resilience and the emerging patient‑doctor‑AI triad. The session will also examine what makes AI trustworthy in clinical settings and why evidence‑based practice and critical thinking remain irreplaceable.
Participants will be able to ask questions and comment live, contributing to a collective reflection that the panelists will integrate into the discussion.
